Peter Levan, 59, of Fair Lawn, NJ passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017.  Born and raised in Passaic, NJ, he resided in Fair Lawn for 26 years.  A loyal NY Giants fan, Peter enjoyed billiards, weight training and motorcycle riding.

He was a driver with Lakeview Farms in Hawthorne for 40 years.

Beloved husband of Marianne (McNally) Levan.  Loving and devoted father of Daniel, Alexa and Erica Levan.  Cherished son of Agnes (Demanchick) and Donald Levan.  Dear brother of Darlene Levan, Richard Levan and wife Donna, Donald Levan and wife Nancy and Keith Levan and wife Debra.  Dear brother-in-law of Sharon McNally and Gary Kunits.  Loving uncle of Carmen, Olivia, Gianna, Dawn, Kimberly, Nicollette, Kayden and Frank.  He is also survived by Mitch his special hot sauce Buddy.

The family will receive relatives and friends for memorial visitation on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 4-8 pm with a service following at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peter to The Lustgarten Foundation, 415 Crossways Park Drive, Suite D, Woodbury, NY 11797, www.lustgarten.org  would be appreciated.

We are very sorry to hear about Peter passing. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him but will never be forgotten. Peter was such a wonderful person who liked helping others because that what Peter loved doing. I was so happy and proud to have a cousin like him. I remember the time we were at Seaside Heights NJ we all had great time on the rides. Thinking of you all, in this time of sorrow, please take care..LOVE cousin Renee and Charlie Balchus

To my wonderful brother Peter god took you from us way too soon I can’t imagine my life without you. Thanks for being the best brother a girl could ever ask for I am and always will be so proud to call you my brother .. you may be gone but I will carry in my heart always . I love you to the moon and back. I will always cherish the good times we had ! Rest easy my wonderful brother !
