Valentina J. Turley


Valentina J. (Sebalos) Turley, 83, of Waldwick, NJ and Chatham, MA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.  Born and raised in New York City, she resided in Waldwick since 1970.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ridgewood.  A kind and unconditionally loving and accepting woman, Valentina enjoyed singing, reading, entertaining but especially spending time with her family who she loved immensely.  She will be remembered for her ability to make people smile.

Beloved wife of Roger T. Turley, Sr. Loving and devoted mother of Janice Waggoner and husband Peter, Roger T. Turley, Jr. and wife Mari, Tammy Morel and husband Stewart, and Kim Hodges and husband William.  Cherished grandmother of Meredith and husband Matt, Roger III, Kerry and husband Kevin, Michael and fiancé Joel, Corey and husband Francis, Tyler and wife Madison, Chip, and Rose and fiancé Chris.  Adored great-grandmother of Illyana, Violet, and Stella.  Dear sister of Anna Feinberg, Julia Gasiorowski, John Sebalos and wife Lita, and Adam Sebalos and wife Erika.

The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, May 20, 2018, 2-7 pm at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ.  A funeral service is planned for Monday, May 21, 2018, 10 am at First Presbyterian Church, 722 E. Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood.  Please meet at church.  Interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus immediately following the service.
