Susan was a breath of fresh air from the moment we met 3 months ago. We may not have known eachother for long, but we knew each other well. She was truly one of the sweetest ladies i have ever met and I miss her greatly every day i get work. I am truly honored to have been able to have been there to care for her for her final hours, and to have been able to be there for her 4 amazing daughters- who proved to be a true testament of what love really means. They sat vigil at their mothers bedside in a way I witnessed for the first time in my 11 years nursing career. It was beautiful witness. Heartbreaking, but beautiful. They put their blood sweat and tears into make sure she got what she needed. and They advocated for her when she could no longer do so for her self. I am so proud to have met these 4 strong women along the way as part of Susan's journey. It was a true blessing for them to become part of my life as well. In all my years Ive never witness a love like this. And it will stick with me for the rest of my life. It may not be my place to say but I know Susan and even your father is looking down so proud of if the strong women they have raised, I know I was very proud of how you handled her with such respect and dignity. You helped her have a peaceful passingly and allowed her the dignity she deserved. Not everyone is capable of doing that. Its admirable. I know Ive said this before but from the bottom of my heart, I loved you mom, and while I'm walking around doing rounds, I miss her. I pass her room and wanna pop in. Miss her little voice saying '"Hi sweetheart," or " hows my angel?" She was a true class act. And i will never forget her. Ive said too much, and am so upset im sick and wont be able to make the services but i would like to find a way to get together with you guys when im feeling a bit better. You know how to reach me. Just know i am there in spirit. Wrapping you guys in my love and Susan as well. Sending every ounce of strength i have for you guys tomorrow. Know i will be there in your hearts. If you need anything, text me. If you dont need anything, text me. Stay in touch, we are only 20mins max, Love you guys so much, xoxo . On my mind all the time.
