I sat on my front porch yesterday and watched several couples walking their dogs. I thought of you and Nancy, and how many times I saw you do this simple act, always with a big smile and an honest hello. It saddens me to know this will no longer be. I hope and pray that your family finds comfort in the memories of your goodness. “Precious in the eyes of God is the return of a faithful servant”.

Please accept my deepest condolence. God understand your grief, and he is, able to give you comfort and strength “at the right time” (Hebrews 4:15, 16). May your special memories help you to cope with the loss of your love one and “the God of all comfort” (2 Cor. 1:3, 4) give the family the strength and comfort in this time of need.
I had the pleasure of being a friend and football coach with Jim. He was a super kind man and an honorable husband and father. I am just so sorry to hear the news of his passing and I will miss seeing him on the train to work. My thoughts and prayers to his family. God bless.
