Brent J. Boyer, age 59, of Glen Rock, NJ passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019.  Raised in Elkhart Indiana, he resided in Glen Rock for the past 26 years. He graduated and earned a Master’s degree from the University of Rochester; he is also a CFA Charter holder. Brent was a Vice President in Risk Management with J.P. Morgan Chase in Jersey City. Brent always enjoyed taking on large, seemingly impossible projects. He also enjoyed sailing, kayaking, skiing, and traveling with his family.

Beloved husband of Linda (Addison) Boyer.  Loving and devoted father of Drew, Lindsay, and Eric Boyer. Cherished son of Ernest Boyer and his late wife Erna (Sprung) Boyer. Dear brother of Beth Wyatt and her husband Michael. Adored brother-in-law of Len and Carole Addison.  Dear uncle of Toni Wyatt, Neal and Emily Addison.

A funeral service is planned for Friday, July 19, 2019, 11 am at the Community Church of Glen Rock, 354 Rock Road, Glen Rock, NJ 07452

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brent Boyer may be made to Friends of the Glen Rock Arboretum (FOGRA).

I worked with Brent 9 years ago. He had been very nice and active person that I ever knew. I know him more from his marathon preparation. He had been of so much inspiration for running with dedication. Never expected that i will have to hear this. Will miss Brent !!

I work at Chase and was lucky enough to be on the same team as Brent a few years ago. He was not only incredibly smart, but was also kind and patient enough to help me with a project when I was brand new to the team, which I am still grateful for. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

Linda, Please know that Susan & I are deeply saddened by Brent's passing. We will always cherish the times we spent together, most recently at our 40th high school reunion in Elkhart. Additionally, since I grew up a few short blocks from Brent's family, I will always look fondly back at our childhood adventures as they were quite memorable and a great deal of fun! And Linda, please stay connected with us through whatever means possible. Sending our love and prayers!

I work at JPMC on the same floor with Brent and just learned of his passing. We did not know each other well, only spoke in passing in the hall or pantry and yet I will miss his presence and our conversations (how ever brief they were). I am sorry for your loss. Dawn
