Artyom Harutyunyan


Artyom Harutyunyan, age 46, of Park Ridge, NJ passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019.  Born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1999 and resided in Queens, NY and West New York, NJ before moving to Park Ridge, NJ 11 years ago.  A sports enthusiast and ice cream lover, he enjoyed playing soccer and was a loyal NY Rangers fan.  Artyom’s greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends.  He also enjoyed being a member of E Z-Ryder Limousine, LLC in Leonia, NJ where he was a chauffeur to amazing clients.

Beloved husband of Gayane (Tatevosyan) Harutyunyan.  Loving and devoted father of Gohar Gabriella Harutyunyan and Narineh Sofia Harutyunyan.  Cherished son of Gohar Vardanyan and the late Garegin Harutyunyan.  Dear son-in-law of Stepan and Narine Tatevosyan and brother-in-law of Berj & Liana Merjanian and Anthony & Lusine Wilson. Loving uncle to Stephan & Alex Wilson and Raffi & Thomas Merjanian.  Loving nephew and cousin to family residing in Armenia.

The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, August 9, 2019, 6-9 pm at St. Leon Armenian Church, 12-61 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ.  A funeral service is planned for Saturday, August 10, 2019, 9:30 am at the church.  Interment will follow at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Artyom to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 would be appreciated.  In the memo section of the check, please write "restricted to colon cancer research".
