Hamilton D. Dimaya Jr., age 55, of Saddle Brook, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Born and raised in the Philippines, he moved to the United States in 1983 and has been a resident of Saddle Brook for the last 18 years. Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hunter College in New York City. He was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Church in Saddle Brook. Hamilton was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega International Alumni Association (East Coast) Inc. Mr. Dimaya enjoyed scuba diving, photography, swing dancing, the beach, and especially spending time with family and friends.

Hamilton was a controller with the SMART, the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Workers Union Local 28 of New York City.

Beloved husband of Angeli San Luis Dimaya. Loving and devoted father of Vincent, Dean and Isabel Dimaya. Cherished son of Caridad Dela Cruz Dimaya and the late Brig. Gen. Hamilton B. Dimaya. Adored brother of John, Sosimo, Romeo, Oliver, Ferdinand, Helen, Ruth, Thelma, Susan, and Grace. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 12 and 13, 2019, 3– 9 pm at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 201-797-3500.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 14, 2019, 11 am at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 488 Saddle River Road Saddle Brook, NJ. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
