Claire C. Kuipers

Claire C. Kuipers, 88, of Toms River, NJ  formerly of Fair Lawn passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lodi, NJ and raised in Paterson she resided in Fair Lawn for many years before settling in Toms River 12 years ago .  She was a member of  Van Riper Ellis Broadway Baptist Church in Fair Lawn and the Restoration Church in Toms River. 

Prior to retiring in 1988 Claire was a wire and soder for Western Electric in Kearney for 22 years  She also worked for Singer Kearfott in Totowa for 10 years .Claire will be remembered for her love of family especially her grandchildren.  

  Loving and devoted mother of  Maryann Bell and Diann Maikai.  Cherished grandmother of Jeffery Bell, Jessica Henderson, Nicholas Lescano ,and the late Keith and Casey Bell..  Adored great grandmother of Alexander, Brianne, and Emily Bell and Lillian and Olivia Camacho. Dear sister of  the late Harriett Sak and Jacob Kuipers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday December 18, 2019 , 11 – 1  PM with a 1PM service at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 201-797-3500.  Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park , Paramus, NJ.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of  Claire may be made to Make a Wish foundation .

Oh Dear Claire..you will be so sadly missed. I had always loved seeing you and spending time talking at family gatherings.. I'm so happy that my mom had you as her most Special friend ever. I hope you guys are together again..that would make me so happy..You both are the reason that our families came together. I will miss your warm heart and your warm smile.. Rest peacefully Sweet Claire Till we meet again...I Love you..Roe ❤❤
