Angela D. Graff


Angela D. (La Rocca) Graff, age 85, of Fair Lawn, NJ passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 28, 2019. Born and raised in New York City, she resided in Fair Lawn for 52 years.  She was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn where she was a CCD teacher for many years.  An active member of her community, Angela was a member and past president of the Woman’s Auxiliary for the Cosmos Club and a member and past president of the Parents Committee of Athletics at Fair Lawn High School.  Mrs. Graff was also a member of the Juvenile Conference Committee of Bergen County.  An avid cook, she enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events and was a loyal New York Yankees fan.  She will be remembered for her love of family and friends, especially her grandchildren.       

Beloved wife of Gerald Graff.  Loving and devoted mother of James Graff and wife Christie, Rich Graff and wife Nadine, Dan Graff and wife Lisa and the late Gerard Graff and surviving wife Stephanie.  Cherished grandmother of Vinnie, Nicky, Angeline, Christian, Nicole, Julianna, Jamie, Antonia, Michael, Brittany, Daniella and James.  Sister of Frank La Rocca and the late Joseph La Rocca.  

A Funeral Mass is planned for Friday, January 3, 2020, 10:30 AM at St. Anne R.C. Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.  Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 2, 2020, 3 – 7  pm at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Angela may be made to Villa Marie Claire, c/o Holy Name Medical Center Foundation, 718 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666,  Please make checks payable to Holy Name Medical Center Foundation.

What a wonderful lady Angela was! So important in the world of sports in Fair Lawn, especially FLHS Football. Her soul is with The Lord now. May The Lord bless her wonderful family at this time!
