Fabio "Paco" Rueda

5/1/2020

Fabio "Paco" Rueda, 71, of Saddle Brook, NJ entered eternal life on Friday, May 1, 2020. He and his loving wife, Carmen, started their family in New York prior to relocating to Saddle Brook in 1987.  Although he was the youngest of eight children, Paco was often relied upon for advice and support. He was a talented and accomplished jeweler and the proud owner of Joyeria Mona Lisa Jewelers in Passaic, NJ. He and his family enjoyed their annual vacations to the Caribbean Islands. An avid tennis player, he cherished his time on the courts with friends and sharing his passion with his wife, children and grandchildren so they too could carry on the tradition.  He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends barbecuing in his backyard always making everyone feel so welcome.

Paco, a pure gentleman, was a hardworking and kind hearted man who put everyone's needs before his own. He was a role model and father figure to many including his cherished nieces and nephews.  His greatest joy came from spending time with family, especially his grandchildren who were the light of his life.

A beloved and devoted husband of 50 years to Rosa Carmen (Bugueno) Rueda.  Loving father of the late David Rueda, cherished baby Fabio G, Marisol Rueda, Fabio Jr. Rueda and significant other Michele.  Cherished grandfather of Alicia, Chelsea, Sofia, Giovanni, and Alessandra.  Adored great-grandfather of Santiago.  Dear brother of Carlos and wife Merci, Gloyre Wantola, Colon, Jonás and Simone Casadesus and husband George and the late sisters Estela Rueda and Egdalia Ramirez.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Paco’s memory can be made to the gofundme: https://www.gofundme.com/f/Prayers-Can-Move-Mountains.

All services are private.  Entombment George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.

A memorial celebration of Paco’s life is being planned for a later date.  Family will provide details at a later date.
