Anthony Charles Pirino


Anthony Charles Pirino, age 28, of New Milford, NJ formerly of Allendale passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.  Born in Hackensack, he resided in Allendale and graduated from Northern Highlands High School, before moving to New Milford.  Anthony will be remembered for his passion and drive for lifting weights, exercise and over all fitness.  He enjoyed hockey, football and vacationing on exotic islands. He also enjoyed fine dining and was extremely social and outgoing.  His smile lit up a room and he had a way of always making people laugh and love him.  Anthony worked in the family business with his father for many years.

Beloved son of Nathan and Janet (Tristani) Pirino.  Loving and devoted brother of Nicole Pirino and her partner Luis Acevedo.  Dear uncle of Victoria Acevedo.  Cherished boyfriend of Monae Caviness.  He is also survived by loving aunts, Maureen Sulish, Kathleen Pirozzi, Gail MacCartney, and Tatiana Ilina; uncles, Antoine Tristani, Fred Sulish, Larry Pirozzi, Bill MacCartney; adopted uncle, Jaime Walsh and first cousins, Ryan Pirozzi, Billy MacCartney and Natasha Ilina, as well as extended family members and many friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, November 19, 2020, 3-5 & 7-9 pm at  Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.  A funeral service is planned for Friday, November 20, 2020, 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.  For those who are unable to attend in person, you may attend via Zoom at

You were our handsome and loving nephew for 28 wonderful years. We will miss you dearly, including your huge bear hugs, big smiles, loving heart and great company.
