So sad to just having heard about this great man's passing...a friend; an advisor; a wonderful person and most of all - someone who always extended a helping hand. Rest in peace my friend.

Our loving and dear friend Jimmy will be sorely missed by all of us. Fond memories with him will not be forgotten. My heartfelt condolences go to the entire family. In better times, the doors of the church would have been overflowing for his touching and beautiful service. I know you'll take comfort in the full and happy life he led.

My condolences to Britt and the Hughes family. I will always be grateful to Jim for his kindness and generosity. He welcomed us with an open heart and treated us as family.  He was warm and funny and I only wish I had the opportunity to get to know him better.  I admired his total devotion to Britt which reveals the true character of a man.  Thank you Jim Hughes

I will miss Jimmy, and "Jimmy" is how I knew him. We were classmates and friends at St. Luke's High School, class of '66. We reconnected at our 50th reunion in May 2016, and continued to connect on birthdays, holidays, and many other times in between. He was that rarest of people, a caring friend and a truly good man.
