John was so special. He and I worked together at Westmoreland school for many years and without his help and friendship we would have never been as successful a team as we were. His work ethic and sincere caring for all the members of the school community made Westmoreland a better place for everyone. He always had the time to assist and to be there when we needed his help and advice. To say he was special is an understatement. He exemplified what people should be through his kindness and giving nature. It is with great sadness and also with joy by having known him that I write these words.
