Patrick was one of a kind:  Smart, Funny, and Loyal to a fault.  A Proud Grandson of Ireland who took immense Pride in his Family’s Irish Heritage.  A passionate listener of music, Paddy enjoyed attending live shows whenever he could.  He was especially fond of the Clash, Ska, Punk and the music of Ireland.  Extremely well read, he could hold a conversation on a wide variety of topics.  Paddy was a life-long fan of the New York Rangers and was an avid supporter of the Liverpool Football Club. Patrick was utterly devoted to his family, especially his Parents, and was a collector of friends.  He made quite a collection for himself over the years, and if you made friends with Paddy you were a friend for life.

I'm very sorry to hear about Pat's passing. I knew Pat through the Boxley's from many years ago and he was always such a great guy.

My deepest condolences to the Ryan Family. Patrick will be tremendously missed. I worked with Paddy in 2012-2013 during my active time with Local 3 IBEW. Pat and I were paired together often during the course of 2012 at 30 Rockefeller Center and WorldWide Plaza and worked other big jobs together subsequent to that. He was an excellent co-worker; hard working, smart, always willing to help another union brother out. Pat was also one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met in this life. Shortly after we began working together we realized we both had a love of Irish history, The Pogues, The Clash, and of course Liverpool FC. I hadn't seen Paddy in recent years but he left an impression on me as he did so many others whom he met, worked with, and befriended. Again I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I will be in Fair Lawn tomorrow to pay my respects. May He Rest in Peace. Joseph M. Ferris
