We were so sorry to hear about Al’s passing. Al and Maria were the best neighbors we could ask for. We always felt welcome. Al always had a big hello and you could just tell he meant it. At a time when people don’t talk to each other very much, we are so thankful that Al created a real neighborhood and we will miss him.

We were shocked beyond belief when we heard of Al's passing. he will be sorely missed. He was a great friend, a great neighbor, and person that was always there, especially during our times of grief. We have fond memories of him be it at neighborhood block parties, camping, pig roasts, Christmas parties, etc. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Alex, Marie, and all of Al's family. May he rest in peace. Billy, Tina, and Faith

Marie, Alex and family - Since I heard that Big Al passed, I can not wrap my brain around it. Chance made us neighbors but love made us friends. We have many, many fond memories of some really fun times spent together. Pig roast, camping, Virginia Beach, Christina's Baptism, block parties and simply hanging out on your front pouch. Some of the best times of my life were spent with you guys. Big Al will be missed so very much. He was a great guy. Just tonight, I was cooking a steak on the grill and I thought of Al telling me how to know when it was perfectly medium rare. I know he's up in heaven, looking down on us and saying, you can miss me but celebrate my life because it was a good one. Way too short but he lived a good life and left everyone he touch better than before they met him. Rest easy Big Al - Love you Man! ~ Love you guys, Gail, Tom, Tommy & Andrew
